Knights Look Good

The New Jersey Knights looked good on their first game as an NFL team. The Knights ground attack seemed to be on as Justin Fargas and Adrain Peterson bashed through the Redskins line. The Knights air attack was there, however neither Kyle Boller or Patrick Ramsey solidified their claim to the starting QB role. This seems to be a competition which will last all of the pre-season.

The ground game scored all three of the Knights touchdowns, with Lamont Jordan scoring two goal line rushes.

The highlight of the night however was the emergence of Javon Kearse. Kearse who is primaryily going to be used as a back up came in in the third quarter and sacked the Rex Grossman not once , not twice, but four times. This has started talks that perhaps Kearse is still got alot in the tank.

The coach has stated that Kearse will play with first team on next preseason game. His health is the only worry for this team. If Kearse can stay healthy he could be a dominate force for the Knights.

Either way the Knights are now 1-0 in the AFC and showed that they can compete.

Outlaws Come out on Top

The Los Angles Outlaws, led by the passing attack of Mike Teel, came out on top over the Atlanta Falcons 17-14 in their first pre-season game. The Outlaws struggled in the first half to get the ball in the end zone settling for three field goals by Shane Graham. However they seemed to have no trouble getting to the red zone, through the passing attack.  Teel hooked up with Kevin Curtis for two very long pass plays and then were stopped short at the gaol line by Atlanta's defense.  The second half brought in the teams back-ups and the games only score came from a Kevin Jones 2 yard run. The Outlaws then converted for two points which was the last score of the game for the Outlaws.

Explaination

I feel that before I begin posting about my league it requires some background information. First off this is a fantasy league I am doing with my Madden 2011 video game. Here is what I have done.

I have replaced four of the NFL teams with created teams and filled those created teams with players from the free agent list at the start of the game. My goal is to see how four teams do completely filled with free agents. I have not lowered the difficulty or made it easier. I will track it as if it were real football.

some may ask why in the world would I do this, honestly I wonder it myself, however I find that it maks it very intresting and fun for me. I want to keep a log of the stats and the things that happen through out the year.  I hope you enjoy
